When Cognition Was Assessed After Sequential Oral CBD and THC

Testing occurred later in the oral dosing session: approximately 205 minutes after CBD or placebo, following THC or placebo given thirty minutes after the first treatment. That schedule addresses a specific assessment window.

Reconstruct both dosing clocks

In the four-group experiment, the first capsules contained 800 mg CBD or matching placebo. Thirty minutes later, participants received 20 mg THC or its placebo. Blood collection for THC analysis occurred approximately 205 minutes after the first treatment, followed by neuropsychological assessments. This corresponds to about 175 minutes after the second treatment, before allowing for the time needed to complete the tasks.

One window cannot describe every phase

Baseline tests were administered the preceding day, and testing was repeated the following day. The interventional assessment was not continuous monitoring of cognition throughout absorption and elimination. The design therefore cannot establish the precise onset, maximum or resolution of every cognitive effect. Nor does it determine the response to CBD taken after THC.

Preserve timing in an evidence claim

The reported failure of pretreatment to mitigate the measured effects applies to the studied sequence and testing context. It does not supply an all-day profile or a universal duration of impairment. Oral dosing, a small selected male sample and between-group comparisons are relevant limitations when applying the findings to a different sequence or collection time.

Minor Breath Cannabinoids Were Not Detected in Every Early Sample

CBC and THCV showed promising early detection patterns, but neither was detected in every evaluated participant within the first hour. Their individual findings should not inherit the combined test’s reported 100% classification result. The marker counts were specific In the report’s table, CBC was detected in thirty-nine of forty participants…

Breath THC Half-Life Estimates Changed With the Sampling Interval

The reported breath THC half-life was much shorter immediately after smoking than at later sampling intervals. A two-point breath estimate was not a fixed whole-body elimination half-life. Six-Month Frozen Pad Stability Did Not Mean Six-Month Breath Detection

The six-month experiment tested cannabinoids stored on fortified collection pads after preparation for laboratory evaluation. It did not test how long a living person continues to exhale cannabinoids after use. The study followed a collected material Fortified pads at low and high control concentrations were stored at −20°C. After six…
